摘要：A media station can be broken-down and reconfigured such that the individual
parts of the media station can be used in multiple configurations. The media stationincludes a central technology backbone that houses the computer hardware and mediamodules required for the type of monitor/media sharing desired. The technologybackbone includes magnetic coupling members that increase the options for thedifferent types of work tables that can be connected to the technology backbonedependent upon the user's needs and the size of the group. The ability to separate thework tables from the central technology backbone allows for flexibility in the styles oftable used as well as the potential for cross room cohesiveness and economies of scale inunit types. When the media station is not in use, users can separate the individual worktables from the backbone and use the tables in a conventional manner.
