Every time when I read this poem, I will consider whether I am a good teacher, whether I can make my students satisfied, whether I can teach them what they really want. I am an English teach, but how to be an ideal English teacher? Let's talk.
As we all know, English consists of five factors, which are listening, speaking, reading, whiting and translating.
Firstly, let's talk about the first two parts, listening and speaking. As an English teacher, I must have the ability in the two. Next, I need to teach my students how to listen and how to speak; how to learn listening and how to learn speaking; how to practice and improve listening ability and how to practice and improve speaking ability. The center is \"how to make them understand and have the ability themselves\".
Next, let's talk about reading and whiting. Here, I want to stress a problem, in our education, we ignore some methods in teaching. For example, our students just read articles in their text books, but it is not enough for learning a language. Everyone
should know that if a person wants to learn a language, only by reading text books is not enough. Well, we need to do is proving enough proper materials for them, because by reading, their comprehensive ability will be improved. Similarly, whiting has its problem, it is students recite a little and practice a little, so they can not white satisfactory composition.
The last one is translating. For primary school students, translating is not that important, but we still need t teach them how to have the ability in this part.
Well, what I have mentioned shows that i have to be a English teacher with comprehensive knowledge in English, and the more important one is I must know how to teach my students, how to make them master this language but not just learn how to deal with exams.
Except for the above, I want to stress a very important idea. That is, as a teacher, I must tach my students knowledge out side class. For example, how to be a person, how to live, how to have their dreams, how to adhere to the dreams and so on.
All in all, to be an ideal teacher is not easy, the only thing we must know is we need to own professional knowledge and teaching methods.
