摘要：A belt type non-stage transmission is constituted so that a V belt obtained byconnecting a plurality of elements using a belt is wound around a pair of pulleys whichhave a groove with V-shaped cross section and which groove width can be changed. Adiffusion layer where at least one of Zn and Sn diffuses on a surface layer of a metallicmaterial of the pulleys and the elements is provided to at least one of contactingsurfaces between the pulleys and the elements. The diffusion layer contains S and P. As aresult, high frictional coefficient and wear resistance can be maintained for a long time, sothat the device can cope with heightening of output.
