摘要：The device has coding elements (6) arranged successively on the tool (1) aroundits circumference at predetermined radial distance from the tool axis. On rotation of thetool the coding elements (6) are successively electronically detected by a stationaryreader (7). The output signals of the reader (7) are fed into a processor (8). More thantwo coding elements (6) are arranged in a predetermined pattern. Only a single datadetector (6) is provided formed by the sensor of the reader (7) and the coding elements.The data detector acts as a source for current input data in the processor (8).
