Step 2 Introducing milk shake
Ask Ss to know 3 kinds of milk shake on the screen, and lead Ss to read them.
Step 3 Presentinghow to make a milk shake
Ask Ss to discuss what we need to make a banana milk shake, then show the things on the screen. Lead Ss to read them.
Ask Ss to look at the pictures about the process of making milk shake, then show the key verbs and the expressions. Lead Ss to read the expressions.
Ask Ss to review the process of making a banana milk shake, and try to recite it.
Step 4 Listening and speaking drills
Ask Ss to finish activity 1a on page 41, and check answers. Ask Ss to listen to 1b on SB page 41 and number the correct order of making a banana milk shake.
Ask Ss to do a pair work to talk about how to make a milk shake. Then ask some pairs to show.

Ask Ss to discuss what we need to make fruit salad, then show some fruit and other ingredients on the screen
Show the pictures on the process of making fruit salad, and ask Ss to give the expressions of making it.
Step 3 Listening about making fruit salad
Ask Ss to finish 2a and 2b in section A on page 42, then check answers.
Step 4 Explanation about how much and how many questions.
Show some food pictures (countable and uncountable nouns) and ask Ss to change the c.n. into the plural forms and add unit nouns in front of u.n. Ask Ss to review the usage of how much and how many questions. Show some pictures and ask Ss to ask and answer “how much or how many …”
Step 5 Oral practice
Ask Ss to make conversations like 2c in section A to talk about making fruit salad. Ask Ss to fill in the 3a in section A and recite it.

Ask Ss to say what are the ingredients in sandwiches, and show some pictures about the ingredients. Ask Ss to say what they like in sandwiches. Show the basic ingredients in sandwiches on the screen, and lead Ss to read the new words together.
Step 4 Listening to how to make sandwiches
Ask Ss to listen to 2a and 2b in section b to learn how to make sandwiches. And check the answers to 2a and 2b
Step 5 Talent show
Ask Ss to discuss the process of making a turkey sandwich, then ask 2 pairs of Ss to perform the process in the front of the classroom. Ask Ss to finish the 3b and check answers.
Step 6 Learn how to make pizza.
Ask Ss to look at the pictures about the preparation for pizza. Then ask Ss to number the correct order of making pizza. Give the considered process of making pizza.
