Device for locking and unlocking doors, in particular motor vehicle doors,having electrical switches (22, 23), which are located in the individual lockable doors andwhich can be operated by means of a key, and actuators (2-5) which act on the individualdoor-locking mechanism of each door and are, if appropriate via a control unit,operatively connected to the electrical switches (22, 23), characterised in that delaymeans (30, 31) are inserted into the operative connection (line 34) between the electricalswitches (22, 23) and the actuators (2-5), which delay means, when one of the switches isoperated with the key for locking, transmit the locking pulse with a delay, so that theactuators (2-5) operate only after a previously fixed delay period.
