A job provides the worker with the necessary means to remain satisfied in almost every aspect of life such as leisure, health, and social life. Consequently, finding a satisfying and motivating job is essential for improving an individuals overall quality of life, and several key factors are thought to be critical for an employee to achieve job satisfaction.
A reasonable salary is of course the most likely contributor to job satisfaction. In many peoples minds, an ideal job is first of all a well-paid one, which makes the employee feel that he is fairly rewarded for what he has done for the pany. Another important element of job satisfaction is the nature of the job itself. Job satisfaction can never be achieved if the work is boring, or if the work is ill-suited to the employees education, skills and interests. Finally, job satisfaction is closely associated with being part of the decision-making process in the pany as well as having opportunities for promotion.
