What is the point of going to college? Different people have different opinions. Some people think that going to university can increase their knowledge and broaden their horizons, while others hold the opinion that they go to university to obtain a good degree so that they can make more wealth in the future.
From my point of view, going to college is a remolding of ourselves, which will let us see a different world and a different self. Whether it is the unsatisfactory results of the college entrance examination, the unsatisfactory status quo or the starting point slightly behind others, the University gives us absolute freedom and the opportunity to turn the tables: as long as you work hard, you have unlimited possibilities. We can make up for the regret of our past achievements in the study of professional knowledge, and reach the reconciliation with our past selves in the continuous improvement of personality. Finally, self remolding of knowledge and personality is completed.
So how to live a meaningful college life? Here I would like to share my views. First of all, don't neglect grades in college. Good grades in any case are the embodiment of ability and dedication. Whether it is scholarship or other selection, grade is the foundation. Next, don't get addicted to cell phones. Your so-called “social circle” is not that important. Some college students look at mobile phones all day long, but what they actually see is something that doesn't have much value. It's better to read a simple book. Besides, arrange time reasonably. There are a lot of free time in University, so you should spend that time studying your own professional courses and developing the knowledge you have learned. Then, I would like to say that interest is important. During the University, you
should find something you like, which can be sports, photography or animation. In short, you have something you like for life, so that you won't be too bored in your future work. Moreover, Study English well. Now there are many channels, if you really feel bored, you can spend more time listening to English, participating in English corner and communicating with English teachers. Last but not least, make a few good friends. Don't just hang out with students of your own major. If you have the opportunity, you can contact more students of other majors, and you can also let yourself know the living conditions of other groups.
To be brief, college is of great significance. No matter what you go to college for, at least you should do something to make your college life more meaningful.
