Stephenie Meyer was born in the State of Connecticut in the USA.

Graduating from Brigham Young University, the biggest christian university all over America, majoring in English literature, she has three children. What is amazing is that this full-time housewife didn’t have any writing experiences before her first book Twilight.

Meyer lives with her family in a small town named Cave Creek. There they own a capacious and modern residence surrounded by towering giant cactus. No wonder, she always appears as a beautiful and smart, funny, cheerful woman. On the other way, she is also a mannered Calvinist. Seven years ago, on a featureless night, a housewife named Stephenie Meyer had a dream. In the dream, a girl and a handsome charming man sit in sunny grass talking of love. The man is a vampire, they have fallen

in love, and he is depressing the desire to hunter her. They have shared the hardship of self-constraint. This dream finally becomes a chapter in Meyer’s first novel Twilight.

After Twilight has been published, Meyer carrys on the rest three book of the series of The Twilight Saga. Though this series mainly talks about Bella and Edward’s love story, it also combines the vampire legends, werewolves stories, campus life, terror suspense, comedy adventure, these four books really have lots of fascinating elements.

Stephenie Meyer has achieved extraordinary accomplishment on her young career progress. My feelings

I found this book on the bookshelf after I had just finished The Fellowship of the Ring .The Hobbit have shown me a world of fairy tale, and now I come to it.

Perhaps I cannot just judge this story as merely a magical magic love adventure. A story came out after a dream, and it now attract me to walk

in the world by myself and it excites my freezing youth feeling. Bella, this sensitive girl, she is tender, stubborn and lack of self-confidence. She always remembers me of my girl friend, both of them seem to adept at self protection, but I know the most strong protection comes from me, and all I can do now is to give her hope and try everything to help her. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited for 90 years, he is waiting for a soul mate. Not wanting to hurt Bella, he must quell his instinct strongly as well as resist temptation of Bella's blood without hesitation. I’m afraid to say that few man can match with him, and the pure love shocks my heart again and again.

What’s more, in the most of the fables, the vampires are evil, bloodthirsty and also as hard as nails. The family members of vampires in Twilight, possess all of the physical features of vampires. Nevertheless, they own humanity and show me the light of love and hope. In consideration of that, I thank all the members of the Cullen's have souls. Furthermore, they have more simplehearted souls than most of humans in the world. They changed their instincts with acting against their will. But they did not forget their normal human feelings.

I've been touched by the beautiful, gentle and frank members in the novel without number. The following words sometimes come into my head, “Your distinctive fragrance is the key to the reason that I love you but my love for you can only be represented by death.”
