摘要：For extracting gases, in particular in dentristy, devices operating with electricmotors (for example fans) are known. These are bulky, loud and susceptible to
malfunction. The device contains an annular duct (15) which can be acted on withcompressed air. The air jet introduced through a compressed-air nozzle (26) moves in acircular-arc path in the annular duct (15), dust-containing gases being sucked in throughan annular slot (22) and being directed to a discharge line (13). The device is suitable forsucking gases from vessels. It is used in particular in dentistry for sucking dust-containingair which is released when solid substances, for example embedding composition, aremixed in a vessel (10).
