The students have learned English for more than one year and they have a basic sense of English. For students in grade four, it’s a little bit difficult to express general questions with plural form. But the kids have a curiosity about farm and vegetables. Besides, they have a strong sense of competition. Teaching and learning objectives 1. To listen, speak, read and understand the dialogue. 2. Are these ____s?这两个问句以及carrots 和 tomatoes 都是比较难的,特别是these 这个单词。为了攻破这个难点,我在热身环节,从Old Macdonald 这首歌直接导入农场,利用学生学过的也在歌曲里出现的ducks, pigs, dogs这些熟悉的词汇,反复练习What are these? They’re ______. 然后再由这个句型带出carrtos 和 tomatoes,紧紧围绕Teaching and 课本两幅主景图,通过猜测、拆分音节、歌谣、表演等多种形式,再一次落learning 实两个重难点句型和单词。在这个过程中,基本上的学生可以表达。然后再introspection 过渡到文本,从看图到听音判断到跟读标音再到跟读表演最后是小组合作选择图片表演,层层递进,一步步深入课文,同时也为学生的输入降低了难度。 最后将文本图片替换成其他图片,让学生编新对话。让学生意识到,学习这些巨型还可以用来表达其他的事物,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。这堂课总体来说是比较顺利的,学生参与度也非常高。可是重难点句型还要通过课外的作业以及本单元其余课文的反复练习运用,才能真正巩固。
