摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer that is prevented fromoperating while a tank is mounted alone.SOLUTION: A hand dryer 30 comprises: a casing1 having a projecting part 1a extending forward from a front upper portion of the casing;a high-pressure airflow generation device 4 for generating an airflow inside the casing 1; anozzle 3 for jetting the airflow toward a hand insertion space 2 below the projecting part1a; a tank cover 7 for receiving water droplets blown off from an object disposed in thehand insertion space 2 by the airflow; and a tank 6 the upper portion of which the tankcover 7 can attached to and detached from, and which constitutes a tank unit 18 togetherwith the tank cover 7 when the tank cover 7 is mounted, and houses the water dropletsreceived by the tank cover 7. The casing 1 comprises a tank unit holding structure thatdoes not engage with the tank cover 7 and the tank 6 alone but engages with the tankunit 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
