Explosives.-Relates toexplosives containing nitrocellulose, nitroglycerine, nitrostarch, nitromannite, or othernitric ester, and consists in improving their stability by the addition of ureas in which one,two, or three atoms of hydrogen are placed by aromatic radicles. In an example, theexplosive contains 30 per cent of nitroglycerine, 65 per cent of guncotton, and ethyl-phenyl-urea.
