跨专业报考当然是有难度，因为你提供的大学本科成绩是贸易专业的成绩，而你报考的是新闻专业，这样审核的老师就无法获知你对新闻专业的水平能力和认知程度。
另外的大学和美国的大学是一样的，都是用申请的，不用像一样参加考试，一考定生死。
申请的大学研究生，你要提供你的托福或雅思成绩单，大学四年GPA成绩，教授推荐信两封以上，个人经历陈述，专业研究方向报告。
的研究生分为两种：MSC（读一年，没有奖学金），MPhil（读2到3年，有奖学金）。MSC就是提供前面的那些资料就行了。MPhil则还需提供GRE成绩，考商科类研究生则需要提供GMAT成绩，和你的PAPER。MSC GPA要求通常是3.0，MPhil GPA通常要求3.5以上。

Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
Applicants seeking admission to the MPhil degree programme should possess:
(a) a Bachelor’s degree with Honours from a recognized university or comparable institution; or
(b) a qualification deemed to be equivalent; and shall, if required, satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination.
Normally, only lst and 2nd Class Honours graduates will be considered to have met the admission criterion under paragraph (a). Graduates with 3rd Class Honours degrees,who have a period of relevant work experience and satisfactory results in any qualifying examination, may also be considered.
