(1)掌握动词及动词短语，例如：speak English，play chess，play the piano，be good at, want to do sth.
(2) 情态动词can用于询问能力的说法。 导学设计：
1. Can you play the guitar? 你会弹吉他吗？
【归纳】（1）can是情态动词，意为“ ”，表示能力，没有人称和数的变化。can后接 ，它引导的疑问句常用来询问对方做某事的能力或表示请求。
（2）play意为“吹拉弹奏”，与表示西洋乐器的名词连接时，名词前要加 。与表示球类或棋类的名词连用时，则不加the。
2.I want to join the music club.我想加入音乐俱乐部。
【归纳】（1）want to do sth.意为“ ”。同义短语是would like to do sth.。
（2）join意为 “ ”，指加入 ，成为其中的一员；其后还可接表示人的 。join in表示假如某个活动，后面接的宾语一般是表示 等活动的名词。 指参加会议或群众性的活动，强调句子主语参加该项活动并在其中发挥作用。 3. What club do you want to join?你想加入什么俱乐部？ What sports can you play?你会什么运动？
【归纳】what作疑问词使用时，可单独对事物进行提问，也可以和 构成特殊疑问词组来提问。
4. You are very good at telling stories!你非常擅长讲故事。
be good at意为“（在某方面）擅长”，at是介词，后接名词代词动名词作宾语。同义短语是do well in.
