Unit 3 My Friends课程教案设计
教材分析:
本单元的话题是朋友。通过本单元的学习,学生要能够向他人介绍自己的好朋友,对好友的性格和外貌特征进行描述。本课时是第一课时,教材通过John向妈妈介绍自己的新朋友张鹏的情景,让学生感知核心句型What’s his name? His name is Zhang Peng. He’s tall and strong.的语义及语用情景。学生在三年级下册第一单元曾接触过friend话题,能够简单地介绍This is my friend. 三年级下册第二单元学习过Who’s this man? He’s my father.等句型,认识人称代词he, she, it. 关于外貌特征的词汇,三年级下册学过描写动物的词汇tall, short, thin, fat, long, small, big及句型It’s short and fat.等。本节课的对话中,friendly,strong,his这三个词对于学生来说是新词。
学生分析:
四年级的学生对英语学习兴趣浓厚,具有词汇学习的能力,能积极参与课堂教学活动,表现欲望强烈。小组合作意识已经初步形成。就知识技能目标而言,人称代词的用法及正确区别what’s his name?和What’s her name?是教学的难点。

1、能够在语境中理解生词his, friendly, strong的意思,并能正确发音;
2、能够在语境中理解人称代词he, she 和形容词性物主代词his, her.
能力目标:
1、能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意; 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演;
2、能够在情景中运用句型What’s his/her name? His/Her name is … 询问并回答某人的姓名,并能在情景中恰当运用功能句He’s/She’s tall and … 描述人的外貌特征。
情感态度、学习策略、文化意识目标:
1、乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语,在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作;
2、在小组交流中,注意倾听,积极思考,运用所学英语进行表达与交流。
教学重点:

教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1、Greetings.
T:class begins.
Ss:stand up,please.
T:Good morning children.
Ss:Good morning teacher.
T:How are you?
Ss:I’m fine.Thank you,and you?
T:I’m fine too.Thank you,sit down please.
2.猜谜语。教师说,学生猜。
It's so big. It has a long nose and a short tail. What is it?(An elephant)
It's small. It has two long ears. What is it? ( A rabbit)
3、Let's do.
T: Now, boys and girls. Would you like to do with me?
Ss: Yes!
T: Make yourself tall. Ss:Tall,tall,tall!
Make yourself short. Ss:Short,short,short!
Make your arms long. Ss:long,long,long!
Make your eyes big. Ss:Big,big,big!
Make your eyes small. Ss:Small,small,small!
(设计意图:以上的Let's do 的目的是为了复习旧知:tall,short,big,small等形容词,让学生温故而知新,为学习新知垫定了很好的基础。)
4.Games.
T:Next!Let's play a game.ok?
Ss:Ok!
接下来做的是反义词游戏,教师说出一个词,如tall,请学生快速说出它的反义词,看看谁的反应快。
T:Now.For example.I say tall,you say short.
I say big,you say small.
Let’s begin: tall--short short---long big---small
(设计意图:课前的Revisions 让学生在一定程度上巩固了旧知识,反义词游戏为小学生善于展现自我的个性搭设了舞台.)
Step 2:Presentation
1. 难点句型He has…和单词photo的教学.
T:I have a new friend.He is very very tall.He has a big mouth,small eyes.He has big ears.He has short hair.Do you know,Who is he?
T:please look this is his photo.
2. What’s his name?His name is…的教学.
A:课件出示Let’s chant:做巩固练习.
I have a new friend . I have a new friend .
He has big eyes. He is tall.
What’s his name? What’s his name?
His name is Yao Ming. His name is Yao Ming.
Step3:Practice
1. 教授Chinese
T:Class,I’m from China .Where are you from?
S: I’m from China,too.
T:Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you.too.
T:We are Chinese.(师出示单词卡贴在黑板上,教读,让生明白意思,)指着班里的学生说Chinese girl , Chinese boy,让生明白并会运用.
2. 师出示John , John’s mother的头饰.
1).Listen and answer:师大屏幕出示:What’s his friend’s name?(让生带着问题听,听后回答)
2).Act this dialogue.(让生拿出自己准备好的John , John’s mother的头饰.生生上台进行对话表演)
Step4:Production
1. Group Work:
在小组内把你所带照片上的好朋友介绍给你的同学.
1).师先找一名同学上台与自己对话做示范展示.
2).小组内做练习,师巡视指导.
3).上台展示.
